Since 2012, StarkLinnemann has been creating music with a timeless quality. Led by Paul Stark (piano) and Jonas Linnemann (drums), the musicians move freely between jazz, classical music and world music. Their approach is adventurous and multi-layered, both in their own compositions and in masterpieces by composers such as Liszt, Chopin and Beethoven, which are transformed into continuous, expressive jazz compositions.

StarkLinnemann stands for groundbreaking musical craftsmanship. Their style is best described as Universal Crossover Music: a form that transcends genres and bridges the gap between tradition and innovation.

As the artistic core of the various ensembles, the co-leaders are constantly seeking out musicians who share their broad vision. This open-minded approach results in great versatility, evident in the diverse line-ups and styles that come together on their albums.

With new recordings on their own label and a clear artistic direction, StarkLinnemann continues to build its own musical universe, in which jazz and the classical tradition come together in a surprising and organic way.
