Singer-songwriter Stef Bos and composer-conductor Dirk Brossé first collaborated in 2026, on commission from the Noord Nederlands Orkest. Brossé arranged a selection from Bos’s repertoire for large orchestra. The meeting proved to be a perfect match: the directness of the song and the power of the orchestra came together naturally. In a time when the news can sometimes leave us feeling discouraged, Bos and Brossé search for another tone. Not looking away, but looking with attention. Not shouting louder, but making space for beauty, memory and wonder. In Ik zing, well-known and lesser-known songs by Stef Bos gain a new perspective, as text, melody and orchestra strengthen one another.

With Prima La Musica
After their first collaboration, Bos and Brossé decided that this encounter deserved a sequel. This time, they tour the Netherlands and Belgium with Prima La Musica, Dirk Brossé’s own orchestra. A concert in which Bos’s voice, Brossé’s arrangements and the full sound of the orchestra come together in an evening that feels both personal and grand
