With millions of views on YouTube and TikTok, Stella Cole is breathing new life into the magic of jazz standards and songs from the Great American Songbook. The young American singer grew up on classic Hollywood musicals and is now taking stages around the world by storm with her warm voice and timeless interpretations of songs made famous by icons such as Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Doris Day.

Stella Cole grew up watching classic film musicals like The Wizard of Oz, Singin’ in the Rain, and The Sound of Music. During the pandemic, she began sharing videos of her performances online, which quickly went viral. Her renditions of songs like Moon River and Stephen Sondheim’s Everybody Says Don’t garnered significant attention, thanks in part to support from artists like James Taylor.

After graduating, she moved to New York, where she performed at renowned venues such as Birdland, Carnegie Hall, and Madison Square Garden. She also collaborated with Postmodern Jukebox and producer Matt Pierson, with whom she has since released several projects.

Her new album, It’s Magic, features romantic classics and jazz standards, accompanied by rich string arrangements by Alan Broadbent. According to Stella, her music isn’t just about nostalgia, but above all about comfort and connection: during the lockdown, she discovered how much support people drew from these timeless songs.
