Ithaka Academy’s Language Table brings participants and residents of The Hague together to practice Dutch in an informal and safe atmosphere. During these weekly meetings, conversation takes center stage: participants work on their language skills, boost their confidence, and build their social network in The Hague.

Introduction to cultural organizations in The Hague

Ithaka Academy in collaboration with Open Amare volunteers

Volunteers and participants engage in conversation about everyday topics, work, culture, and life in the Netherlands. In addition, participants are introduced to cultural and social organizations in the city, such as Amare and other partners within the Hague Language Network. The Language Table contributes to language development toward CEFR levels 2F–B1 and supports integration, participation, and connection among residents of The Hague.

Credits

Ithaka Academy supports newcomers and participants in The Hague with language development, community engagement, and orientation toward education and the job market. In collaboration with local partners, Ithaka organizes accessible activities that contribute to integration and social engagement.
