The Goddess reimagines the divine feminine in this visually stunning journey that explores the feminine experience. Rukmini Vijayakumar’s Raadha Kalpa Dance Company brings 13 performers live on stage that present captivating dance with powerful rhythms and enchanting melodies. The Goddess draws from classical Indian dance vocabulary stripping it of visual excess, revealing the elemental force that lies beneath.

In a culture where the feminine is revered as the embodiment of strength, creation, and
transformation, The Goddess reimagines the divine feminine through the language of
movement and music. In a three-chapter journey The Goddess explores her ephemeral and
sensual beauty, her role as creator and finally her fierce power rooted in deep compassion.
An ensemble of 9 dancers and 4 musicians brings to life powerful rhythms that echo the
sound of the universe, enchanting music that voices the divine and compelling dance that
creates images of grace and fierceness.
