Celebrate the holidays with Amare
Amare's programming in December is all about the holidays. Whether you like music or dance, vocal or instrumental, old or new, there is a perfect concert for everyone!
Christmas carols, romantic songs and sacred Baroque music: in December, Amare is fully devoted to the festive season. For lovers of choral music, we present a beautiful concert by the Irish choir Anúna and, as a long-standing tradition, our Christmas concert by THINC. Prefer Baroque orchestras? Consider attending Música Temprana or the Netherlands Bach Society. For a string orchestra, Ciconia Consort is the place to be, and for a symphony orchestra, look to the Residentie Orkest, which will perform Handel’s Messiah. And then there is one more gem you certainly won’t want to miss: the phenomenal soprano Christianne Stotijn, who will guide you through Schubert’s unparalleled song cycle Winterreise.
