Choirs sound magnificent in Amare’s Concert Hall! Following a successful concert, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, led by Tõnu Kaljuste, returns with Martin’s double-choir Miss and will also bring “hidden treasures” to light. Conductor and Arvo Pärt expert Kaspars Putniņš visits Amare this time with the Latvian Radio Choir. During the sacred period surrounding Easter, they will perform Arvo Pärt’s meditative Kanon Pokajanen in its entirety. A surprise addition to the lineup is Compagnie la Tempête, which will transform Amare’s stage into their “safe space” with a visually stunning performance, presenting music with the word “Obsession” as its leitmotif. Closer to home, Cappella Amsterdam returns with the finest Dutch choral music for an intimate concert at the Nieuwe Kerk. In short, a wonderful musical journey featuring the most beautiful voices.
