Internationally renowned violinist Isabelle Faust visits Amare, accompanied by the Basel Chamber Orchestra. Together with Krystian Bezuidenhout, they will perform The Summer of 1788, featuring, among other works, Mozart’s world-famous Violin Concerto No. 2 in D major. The renowned and intriguing pianist Ivo Pogorelić will perform Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. Patricia Kopatchinskaja will enchant our eyes and ears with her wonderfully expressive project Prometheus. Niek Baar will perform as a soloist with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, and the Jussens are back with a delightful program to close out the season.
