In this concert, students from the harp class of the Royal Conservatoire present themselves to the public. They will perform works specifically selected for this occasion.

The harp class and the composition department jointly organized a project this year. The harp class asked the French composer Philippe Hersant to give a workshop on his numerous compositions for harp. The composition department asked Philippe Hersant to come to give a workshop on how to compose for harp. The assignment was to write a "sister" composition to an existing piece by Hersant.

You will hear now most of Hersant's pieces and one ‘sister’ composition.

The concert will be broadcast on Radio West on the following Sunday between 08:00-09:00 and 20:00-21:00.
