The Ndlovu Youth Choir, founded in 2009, started off as a simple after-school program, but gained international fame in 2019 through its participation in America's Got Talent. A close call made them lose the finals, but that certainly did not mean the end of their career. They effortlessly combine traditional South African genres with pop, rock, jazz and EDM, resulting in extremely danceable covers of Toto's 'Africa', Kygo's 'Higher Love' and Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You', among others. They have already released three albums, and we no longer see any reason not to invite the choir to a party.

With their beautiful harmony vocals and creative performances of popular songs, the Ndlovu Youth Choir is very successful in America. Their audition at the famous talent show led to a standing ovation from the audience. The YouTube video of the audition has since been viewed more than 7 million times. A place in the spotlight for these talented young people who, thanks to this choir, can transcend their problematic background.

Goosebumps, enchanting and energetic. The judges of America's Got Talent but also the media lack superlatives to describe the South African choir. Thanks to a moving rendition of Whitney Houston's Higher Love, they are now in the final. "It's fantastic. A madhouse. A dream come true for our choir,” says choir leader Ralf Schmitt in a radio interview.
