Soloists Maarten Engeltjes, Elisabeth Hetherington and baroque orchestra PRJCT Amsterdam reflect on the pandemic in collaboration with Nationaal Vrouwen Jeugdkoor. What has happened to us, what have we learned from it and is a "new era" ahead of us?

In a musical triptych, Gloria! reflects on our past, present and future.

You will hear sadness from Carissimi, an ode to light by Händel, comforting cantatas from Bach and the radiant Gloria from Vivaldi, sung by only female voices, as it sounded in Vivaldi's time in the monastery where he worked: the Ospedale della pietà in Venice. Special, because Gloria is rarely performed in this line-up.
