Music Together is an internationally recognised music programme for young children.

Alexandra Bons (first violinist of the Residentie Orkest The Hague) introduces the children to making music in a relaxed and playful way. Together with the parents, they sing, dance and play instruments. Of course, Alexandra will also play the violin.

This workshop is free, but reservation is required (for parent/carer and child). Booking is possible from Sunday 8 June at 08:00. No tickets available? Then you can attend the workshop elsewhere, click here for more information.

Violinist Alexandra Bons-Mashina is a versatile artist, active as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra member. After coming to the Netherlands, she quickly developed into a remarkable young talent, winning awards at various international competitions. Her artistic formation was partly influenced by such luminaries as Wolfgang Marschner, Natalia Morozova, Leonidas Kavakos, Ilya Grubert and Johannes Leertouwer.

Alexandra performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician, including with her own Calliope String Trio, and fulfils the role of first violinist with the Residentie Orkest.

As co-founder and artistic producer of Stichting Podium Calliope, Alexandra, together with her husband Marco Bons (conductor and music teacher), is a driving force behind numerous cultural, social and educational projects. Together, they play an important role every year in both organising and performing at the renowned Noordeinde Nocturne festival in The Hague.

Alexandra puts her talent to full use to introduce young children to the magical world of music. With her passion and expertise, she manages to inspire and involve even the youngest children in the musical world of sound, igniting their love for music at an early age.
