Star violinist Liza Ferschtman joins the closing concert of Festival Klassiek achter de Duinen. The program begins with an intimate solo violin work by Ukrainian composer Silvestrov, followed by the energetic Hallelujah Junction for two pianos and Schubert’s heavenly string quintet.

Schubert’s String Quintet in C is a gripping masterpiece from the final year of his life, where drama and serenity alternate with unparalleled intensity. The five musicians are challenged to give their all. It is a pinnacle of the chamber music repertoire and the perfect conclusion to the festival’s fifth edition.
