This spring break, children aged 6 to 12 can perform on stage at Theater Amare, The Hague. During the Musical4daagse, children collaborate to create a show, engaging in singing, dancing, and acting for four days, culminating in a public performance on the final day.

The children work together with the teacher for four days to create a final performance. The musical is written in such a way that all children have their own role with lyrics and solo singing.

During the Musical4daagse, the children not only learn to sing, dance and act, but also to collaborate and communicate. The lessons are made in such a way that children learn the basic principles of theatre in an easy way. It's a great way to make new friends and build self-confidence.

With the performance, the children shine on stage with professional hair and make-up and costumes and feel completely at one with their role. At the end of the performance, the musical stars receive a standing ovation!

The Musical4daagse is an initiative in collaboration with 20 theatres throughout the Netherlands. By introducing children to theatre at a young age, they can enjoy this beautiful art form for a lifetime and, therefore, make a valuable contribution to the future of the cultural sector.
