The Hague's skate culture takes over Amare

On Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May, Amare was completely immersed in The Hague's skate culture. The performance Skatepark brought an explosion of energy to the Danstheater, while the public spaces were transformed into Amare Skate Plaza.

The journey to Sutra with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui

In 2007, Flemish-Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui left to China. In an attempt to break out of his comfort zone, he temporarily locked himself up with a group Shoalin monks. The result is the breathtaking performance Sutra, which can be seen in Amare from Wed 28 to Fri 30 May.
