Individual giving

Amare is more than just a theatre. It is a home for young and emerging talent and for renowned artists from The Hague and far beyond. With your help, we are able to create a stage that belongs to everyone, where professional performers and students can shine alike!

Corporate giving

Amare is set to be the ultimate cultural centre for The Hague, the Netherlands and even Europe. With four halls, a convention centre, eight lobbies, public areas and two restaurants, Amare has no peer in the Netherlands. Amare is looking for Corporate Partners to fulfil its ambitions.

Funds and foundations

Amare functions as one large stage of, by, and for all. Through educative and inclusive programmes, we introduce a wide and diverse audience to the world of the performing arts. We are able to realise our goals thanks to the support of various funds and foundations, and we are extremely grateful for their help.

The impact of your contribution

You have the power to help us realise the historical start of Amare: the new home of Stichting Amare, Residentie Orkest The Hague, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Royal Conservatoire. With your support, we are able to:

Combine a top-level cultural venue with state-of-the-art facilities, where artistic talent can flourish and a new generation is given the opportunity to grow;
Open up Amare by arranging its public spaces in such a way that local initiatives can be accommodated. Every public space in Amare is a potential stage;
Make sure that Amare is accessible to a diverse audience from The Hague and surrounding cities. In particular for those who are not naturally drawn to theatre;
Become a nationally leading performing arts venue that develops and presents unique shows as well as (international) world-class acts in the areas of music, dance and opera.

Supporting foundation for Amare

Contributions and donations to Amare are administered by ‘Stichting Podium van de Stad’. This supporting foundation seeks financial donations for Amare and is registered as a cultural ANBI (public benefit organisation). Stichting Podium van de Stad’s objective is to (financially) support Stichting Amare. The foundation’s capital is used to support Amare with regard to special projects. An independent board ensures that the donations are properly spent on the designated causes and projects.
